aaron hoover.
aaron’s life and work are centered around helping people see that their story isn’t over.
He is an advocate for those navigating mental health struggles, especially within the church, where many people suffer quietly without the language or support they need. Aaron has personally lived with clinical anxiety, depression, and OCD for more than two decades. Through those experiences, he has come to know the steady faithfulness of God, even in the middle of pain that doesn’t quickly resolve.
That experience shapes everything he does.
aaron speaks and writes about mental health, suffering, and faith with honesty, compassion, and conviction.
He is passionate about helping individuals stay alive, find hope, and begin to see how their pain can be redeemed. He also equips churches and leaders to care for people in ways that are responsible, thoughtful, and grounded in biblical truth.
He currently serves as the Executive Pastor at Eastpoint Church in Maryland and has spent over a decade in full-time ministry. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Science in Religious Studies and a Master of Arts in Evangelism and Church Planting.
Aaron has been married to his wife and best friend, Megan, for 16 years. Together, they are raising their three sons, Wesley, Abram, and Roman.
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
